Adventures in Donuts - Everyglazed and The Salty

The donut scene here in Orlando is continuing to grow and man we are lucky! I recently tried two of the newer donut spots in town and I was not disappointed at all!

First up, the new addition to Disney Springs Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew. Obviously I had to get a Fruity Pebbles donut, it is a little known fact that I will eat just about anything that involves Fruity Pebbles. Tamy got the Peanut Butter Explosion and our friend who joined us got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut. Us gals who ate the cereal donuts ate all of ours and they were DELICIOUS! Tamy's was super rich, really yummy but she's a lightweight and ate the rest of her donut later in the day. Super good and we will definitely be back!

I also got the Vanilla Hazelnut cold brew, it wasn't bad but it was really sweet, it might have been the combination of the sweet donut and sweet coffee but I opted not to finish the coffee, which you know for this coffee addict is pretty much unheard of! Next time I want to try the Reese's Nitro or one of their flavored milks, perhaps the Fruity Pebbles...

Next up The Salty Donut which opened over the Summer in Audobon Park. This is an adorable location, I will be definitely taking Tamy there in the very near future because WOW the donut and coffee I had were absolutely delicious!

For this maiden voyage I chose the Butter Beer Donut. My goodness this was so good. These brioche donuts are all made in house and you can tell. They are delicious, not too sweet and this tasted like butter beer, notes of caramel, a little cream soda vibe, light and delicious. I devoured this. I paired my donut with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte and this was delicious - pricey - but delicious. Not too sweet, yummy and full of that great warm cinnamon flavor. I can't wait to go back and try something else!

I will definitely be returning to both donut shops soon and often but based on the first visit alone I lean slightly towards The Salty Donut as the winner of this first visit. Have you been to either of these donut spots? What should I try next? Do you have a favorite donut spot? I hope you will tell me all about it!
